Unlike a regular general service which cleans the surface, chemical wash uses a professional-grade cleaning solution to penetrate and dissolve accumulated mould, scale, bacteria and mineral deposits from inside the evaporator coil.

What Is Aircon Chemical Wash?

Chemical wash (also known as chemical service or aircond chemical service) is a deep cleaning procedure that goes beyond what regular maintenance can achieve.

During a chemical wash, our technician:

1. Removes the front panel and filter
2. Applies professional chemical cleaning solution directly onto the evaporator coil
3. Allows the solution to break down mould, scale, grease and bacteria
4. Flushes the coil with clean water to remove all residue
5. Cleans the drainage tray and drainage pipe
6. Reassembles and tests the unit
7. Confirms temperature output is restored before leaving

The process takes approximately 45–60 minutes per unit and the difference in cooling performance is noticeable immediately after.

When Do You Need a Chemical Wash?

You need a chemical wash if:

• Your aircon smells musty, mouldy or unpleasant when switched on
• The unit is not cooling as well as it used to despite being switched on for a long time
• You can see black or dark spots on the fins of the indoor unit
• The unit has not been deeply cleaned in over 12 months
• There is excessive water dripping from the indoor unit
• Family members are experiencing unexplained allergies or respiratory irritation
